The first 1000 days: new support in day hospitalization at the Maternity Les Orchidées

The first 1000 days: a key period for the child and parents

The first 1,000 days, from conception to two years of age, are a critical period for health, child development and parents' adaptation to this new stage of life.

This fundamental time is today recognized as a major public health issue, both medically and psycho-social.

New day hospitalizations at the Maternité Les Orchidées

As part of the national program for the first 1000 days, Maternité Les Orchidées is setting up three new day hospitalizations (HDJ) for patients before and after childbirth.

These new devices complement the existing HDJ, particularly in the journeys related to gestational diabetes, overweight and obesity, in order to offer a global, personalized and coordinated support.
