Dermatology at the Clinique Sainte-Clotilde: specialist care for the skin, hair and nails

The Clinique Sainte-Clotilde, part of the Clinifutur Healthcare Group, now offers dermatology consultations.

A medical speciality dedicated to skin health

A medical speciality dedicated to skin health. Dermatology is the medical speciality dedicated to the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of diseases of the skin, hair, nails and mucous membranes. Whether dealing with common conditions or more complex disorders, this discipline plays a vital role in monitoring patients’ overall health, as the skin often reflects the body’s general condition.

The skin is the largest organ in the human body and can be affected by numerous conditions requiring specialist medical expertise.

Dermatologists treat, in particular, inflammatory skin conditions (eczema, psoriasis, acne, etc.), autoimmune conditions (vitiligo, alopecia areata), pigmentation disorders, and skin cancers (particularly those linked to sun exposure). Conditions affecting the nails, mucous membranes and scalp also fall within this specialism.

Care for all ages

The dermatology department caters for all patients, from children to adults. Three areas of consultation are available:

  • general dermatology, for the diagnosis and treatment of common skin conditions;
  • paediatric dermatology, dedicated to the specific needs of our youngest patients;
  • dermatological surgery, particularly in the management of skin cancers.

This structure ensures a continuous care pathway, from screening to treatment of the condition.

Exclusively medical dermatology

This service focuses solely on medical dermatology. Requests for cosmetic procedures are not dealt with within this framework.

The aim of these consultations is to focus on the diagnosis and treatment of dermatological conditions, with particular attention paid to the early detection of suspicious lesions, especially in the fight against skin cancer, in order to offer appropriate surgical management.

Expertise dedicated to personalised care

This personalised approach is primarily aimed at meeting the specific needs of each medical situation, whether it involves one-off follow-up or a condition requiring long-term support.

To book an appointment: a referral letter from your GP is essential as part of the care pathway; the dermatology department’s reception can then be contacted on 02 62 48 61 28 or by email sec.drjacquin.csc@clinifutur.net.
