A strong mobilization for Pink October 2025
On October 23, 2025, the Saint-Vincent Clinic joined the national Pink October campaign dedicated to breast cancer prevention and screening.
For this new edition, the establishment proposed several awareness actions open to patients, visitors and the outside public.
Awareness of autopalpation: two stands to inform and prevent
Two stands were set up for the occasion:
- One within the clinic,
- The other in the adjoining street, in order to reach an even wider audience.
The objective was clear: to encourage women to regularly practice self-examination, an essential gesture of self-monitoring to identify early warning signs of breast cancer.
In total, nearly 40 participants took part in the proposed workshops.
Accompanied by the care teams, they were able to discover or perfect the autopalpation gestures in a warm, friendly and caring atmosphere.
Although I am familiar with Pink October and its workshops, this year I discovered other signs to look out for,’ says Elsa Velten, Quality Manager, who recently joined the clinic.
‘It was an emotional and very useful moment of sharing,’ says Aurélie Pierret, Quality Secretary and Patient Experience Advisor.
A day rich in exchanges, testimonies and emotions
Throughout the day, several passers-by spontaneously shared their own experience of the disease.
These sincere testimonies reminded us how early detection, information and mutual aid play an essential role in the fight against breast cancer.
A sustainable commitment to health and prevention
This mobilization once again demonstrates the strong commitment of the teams at the Clinique Saint-Vincent in favor of prevention, awareness and women’s health.
A big thank you to all the participants, the mobilized professionals and the visitors for their active participation and trust.
